How to Die Cut 4-Color Magnolia Bud Blocks:
For best cutting results, position fabric on the lengthwise grain (straight of grain) as it goes under the roller.
Tip: The die is specially designed to cut one complete 4-color 7" finished block in one pass through the cutter.

How to Die Cut 4-Color Magnolia Bud Blocks:
For best cutting results, position fabric on the lengthwise grain (straight of grain) as it goes under the roller.
Tip: The die is specially designed to cut one complete 4-color 7" finished block in one pass through the cutter.
- Fabric Color 1:
- Cut one 4 1/2" square. Place right side up over shape A.
- Cut one 6 1/2" x 4 3/4" rectangle. Fanfold and place over shapes D to cut 2 mirrored shape sets, 4 shapes total. (There will be an extra mirrored shape set. Set aside for next block.)
- Fabric Color 2:
- Cut three 2 3/4" x 4 3/4" rectangles. Place right side up over shapes B & C to cut three of each shape.
- Cut one 6 1/2" x 4 3/4" rectangle. Fanfold and place over shapes D to cut 2 mirrored shape sets, 4 shapes total.
- Fabric Color 3: Cut one 1 7/8" square. Place right side up over shape C to cut one shape.
- Fabric Color 4: Cut one 6 1/2" x 4 3/4" rectangle. Fanfold and place over shapes D to cut 2 mirrored shape sets, 4 shapes total. (There will be an extra mirrored shape set. Set aside for next block.)
